Ricardo B. Salinas Pliego
Executive Advisor and Member of the Board of Directors, Grupo Elektra Global SL
In 1977, he graduated with Honors in Public Accounting from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), Monterrey Campus, Mexico. He later earned a Master’s degree in Finance from Tulane University in New Orleans, United States, in 1979. Ricardo B. Salinas Pliego became the first foreign alumnus to be recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus by Tulane University.
In 1987, he was appointed President of Grupo Elektra in Mexico and later served as Honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Elektra.
In 2025, he relocated to Spain, where he oversees Grupo Elektra Global SL’s strategic direction, with the objective of strengthening the firm and upholding a rigorous investment discipline focused on sustainable value creation for investors.
Pedro M. Molina Reyes
Member of the Board of Directors, Grupo Elektra Global SL
Pedro M. Molina Reyes serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Grupo Elektra Global SL and is responsible for coordinating, from Spain, the firm’s operations and projects in Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Hungary, and Switzerland. He also acts as an advisor to several Group-affiliated companies, contributing to strategic planning, risk oversight, and the strengthening of corporate governance.
Previously, Pedro M. Molina Reyes served as Controller at TV Azteca —the world’s second-largest Spanish-language content producer based in Mexico— where he led financial and administrative functions as well as subsidiary management. In that role, he drove improvements in reporting, process standardization, and efficiency in internal control and compliance.
Pedro M. Molina Reyes brings together financial rigor, international vision, and a strong focus on value creation for investors. His cross-border operational experience and ability to coordinate between local and corporate teams enable him to effectively execute expansion, restructuring, and financial optimization initiatives.
Pedro Padilla Longoria
Director of Investment Promotion in Europe, Grupo Elektra Global SL
He holds a Law degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and has served as an advisor to Grupo Elektra Global SL, participating in multiple investment and corporate development initiatives.
Pedro Padilla Longoria is an executive and board member with a distinguished career in international markets. He served on the Board of Grupo Elektra in Mexico and held the position of Chief Executive Officer from 1993 to 2000, leading key phases of expansion and operational efficiency.
With extensive experience in international financial and commercial operations, he has advised on cross-border investment structures and growth projects for various companies.
In 2025, he relocated to Spain to take on the role of Director of Investments at Grupo Elektra Global SL, where he leads the origination, analysis, and execution of opportunities in Europe with a strong focus on value creation for investors.
